Strike Day in London

So I jumped on my bike at lunchtime today to take a few shots of those taking industrial action. The centre of London was awash with people. Of course, there were huge numbers of children joining the march as their schools were closed. Young and old, blowing whistles, banging drums, chanting - all very well humoured. The LGBT community seemed to be out in huge number, as were the Stop the War coalition. Maybe the excuse to get out on the streets was too much of an opportunity to miss. Hope you enjoy a the banners and placards...

Cotswold tomfoolery

A misty morning on the haunted lake, followed by a trip to the market and a super hot afternoon spent larking about in a boat in the Cotswolds. Couldn't really ask for much more.

Holkham haven

3 labs, one iconic beach, streaming sunshine and a converted barn - all makes for a great Norfolkian getaway. Holkham beach is so beautiful that it was one of the locations used to film The Beach. No sign of Danny Boyle and friends this time round.
